I'm a farmer and father living on Vashon Island in the Puget Sound. My photographic work journeys deeply into seasonal cycles, human maturation, rites of passage, spiritual development, mentorship, and intimacy, especially intimacy with nature.
I am currently gathering the daily joys and sorrows of farm life for an ongoing series, 40 Surrenders a Day. My first monograph, The Boy in the Wild Orchard, was published in 2023 by Black Flower Publishing. I have called this island home since 2010.
